- Arroyo del Oso: This is a municipal course, but don’t hold that fact against it. Here you’ll find huge greens and the perfect obstacles to make your game a challenge. Whether you’ve been playing for years or you’re just starting to become a serious player, this is a great challenge. The course features 27 holes and has a Par 72 for men and a Par 73 for women. It also has a putting and chipping green as well as a driving range and pro shop.
- Tanoan Country Club: Not many visitors see this side of Albuquerque, but if you’re a golfer, it’s certainly one you’ll want to add to your list. Designed by PGA legend Bruce Devlin, there are three different nine-hole layouts here that can be played in various ways. Lots of water features, as well as a view of the Sandia Mountains complete this course.
- Desert Greens Golf Course: If you want beauty and luxury in a public course, this place should definitely be on your list. A championship course that will truly challenge your game, this one gives you the chance to get away from it all with the Sandia Mountains and the downtown area in the background.
