All throughout December there are ways of celebrating Christmas. Get a head start by participating or visiting some of the fun and wondrous events that the city has to offer.
Start on December 6th and 7th and get some of your Christmas shopping done early during the Holiday Shop and Stroll. All throughout Old Town, you will discover bands and singers performing live for all sorts of music, as well as various other forms of entertainment. Shops and restaurants in the area will offer up delicious cups of hot chocolate and tasty treats as you stroll through the streets peeking in windows and marking gifts off your list. There are a lot of items here that you won’t find anywhere else, giving you the chance to choose unique gifts for friends and family.
December 7th is the day of the annual Twinkle Light Parade. Enjoy all the different lights as they wink and sparkle their way down Central Avenue. It can be the perfect way to wrap up your Shop and Stroll days!
On Christmas Eve, you can celebrate by viewing another annual New Mexican tradition.
