Excellent Hotel With Great Staff, Really Good Food And Beautiful Setting

First, all of the staff we encountered were really nice and went beyond normal to make us feel special. This staff ranks tops in our experience…and we have traveled a lot!!! Jim in the restaurant area ensured first class service…and Jenny was absolutely outstanding! This is a truly very unique and wonderful place to stay!!

Calmly Amazing & Amazingly Calm

I have never felt so comfortable, welcome, and relaxed at a hotel, before. Everything is IMMACULATELY clean. The air conditioner/heater in my room was quieter than a whisper. Furniture and decor are so attractive, one might take for granted how well they were designed, in terms of funcction. And the pleasant, accomodating, yet quiet and low key staff are perfect. Hotel Andaluz is the new standard against which I will now measure hotels. Room Tip: I suspect all the rooms are excellent.

An Amazing Hotel That Breaks From The Norm

I have traveled to Albuquerque twice this month for work and stayed at Hotel Andaluz. What a find! Walking into the hotel is like stepping into a different country. There is wonderful, relaxing, old world, Spanish feel. I am immediately wisked away to a new experience. The unique touches are superb. The Receptionist “desk” is in a little alcove area completely different than the normal front desk. The lobby is amazing. Spent some time in the Library relaxing and reading. The staff is courteous and very helpful. For both visits they found a location in a quieter area away from the elevators and even upgraded my room!

The rooms have a decor that provides a relaxing and upscale feel. The beds, sheets, and pillows are very comforting. After a day of work Hotel Andaluz is a place I want to go to relax and recharge for tomorrow. I did not eat at the restaurant. Also, both stays were during the week so I have no idea what the weekends are like.
Being a Green hotel is an added bonus. The price is more than fair for a Hotel of this quality. Hotel Andaluz is perfect for work or traveling with your loved one. I will have to find more reasons to travel to Albuquerque, stay at Hotel Andaluz, and enjoy all the hotel and area have to offer.

We stayed just one night in this stunning renovated hotel and barely wanted to leave the property. The lobby itself is reason to stay with its cool comfortable seating, side booths, and stained glass “curtain”. The library with its superb collection of books and magazines is a reader’s heaven. We had a maragarita on the rooftop bar (delicious) and then after much umming and ahhing about where to go for dinner in Albuquerque, stayed in the hotel and went to Lucia. I’m always a bit suspicious about hotel restaurants but Lucia could hold its head up with the best bistro-style dining in London or New York. The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. The wold experience was an absolute delight.

The hotel is very pleasing to look at! Signage outside is very minimal. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate guests. The food was all very good.

After researching cool, romantic places to stay in downtown ABQ, chose Hotel Andaluz …. and was not disappointed. Stayed in an Andaluz King room three nights and was upgraded to a King Suite the fourth night. The hotel is very charming …. very bright … very comfortable. The staff was outstanding, and attended to every need in fine style. An example ….. there is no wine or spirits store nearby, and wanted to buy a bottle of wine to enjoy in the room. The staff was apologetic that we could not buy a bottle of wine in a nearby store, and delivered a nice bottle to enjoy that evening ….. a very gracious act. The rooms were very nice ….. modern …. nice little touches everywhere. The beds were killer ….. some of the most comfortable that I have ever enjoyed. In all, this is a wonderful hotel in the heart of downtown ABQ. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Congratulations, Hotel Andaluz, in making our brief stay in ABQ so memorable.
